Waitlist privacy

Updated September 6, 2026. This notice covers the SmartSober website waiting list, not the future app.

What you share

We store your email address, signup time, the version of the consent you accepted, and non-sensitive campaign labels attached to the signup link. We do not ask for a sobriety date, diagnosis, health record, or recovery history.

Why we collect it

We use the waiting list to organize interest in SmartSober and, with your permission, provide launch and testing updates. Joining does not create an app account, reserve a paid subscription, or guarantee an invitation.

Storage and access

Signup records are stored in the website’s Cloudflare database through OpenAI Sites. SmartSober’s operator and the providers needed to host this service can process that information. Signup records are not displayed publicly. This form does not send email automatically.

Your choices

After a new signup, save the private removal link shown on the confirmation screen. It lets you delete that signup without sharing your email publicly. If you sign up again with the same email, your original removal link remains the one to use. For help with a lost link, contact SmartSober on Instagram. Do not post your email or recovery details in a public comment.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup while the waitlist is active unless you request removal. Before sending updates, we will provide a way to unsubscribe. This list is for adults aged 18 and older.
